it’s a sad commentary, in lots of ways, that we have to talk about matters of common courtesy such as this.
However, if you are a black female, headed to Ferguson for a “teach-in”, feel free to spread across as many seats as you need to strike a blow against white privilege.
T.M.I.
When you're in your own car that can't nag you about anything. That's no fun.
Remember when a gentleman would rise from his seat to give it to a lady?
This means you!
Remember when there WERE ladies?
Barely.
I still do.
Lemmie guess - it is a black and muslim thing
So do I, but I meant on a regular basis.
Remember when a woman you met on public transportation might have been a lady?
Then there is this "manspreading."
What’s next , You better wear socks with your sandals or No Puffy Coats
This action is not exclusive just to men. I’ve seen spreaders who were men, women, seniors and teens.
Ive seen ‘homeless’ people who have everything dumped into one big black hefty bag, which is then placed on the seat next to them. I don’t even want to sit too close to some folks.
Those who are being obviously inconsiderate are likely to also be angry, and a little bit nutty, so, my day goes better if I can avoid any contact. They are the people looking to vent about anything.
This Manspreading stuff may be just another way to make men feel obligated to take second place to women. The same women who claim to be so strong and confident.
Thailand?
Her beauty lies
Between her Thais.
It makes my Levis,
Rise.
Thaink you very much
About five years ago I was on public transportation headed for the Newardk airport. All seats were full.
An older lady got on. I was in the back, so I waited for a man closer to offer her his seat. None did. So I gave her mine. Everybody, including her, stared in amazement.
About three hours later I was on the parking shuttle at Tampa airport. All seats were full. A middle-aged lady boarded. Most if not all of the men stood up to offer her a seat.
Randingo!
