Demonstrators chanting, "Black lives matter," converged in the Mall of America rotunda Saturday as part of a protest of police brutality that caused at least part of the mall to shut down on a busy day for holiday shoppers.
The group Black Lives Matter Minneapolis had more than 3,000 people confirm on Facebook that they would attend. Official attendance figures weren't immediately available, but organizer Mica Grimm says she believes about 3,000 took part.
Bloomington police said 25 people were arrested.
The Mall of America increased security, and police in riot gear were present. Stores were closed for a short time, and signs were posted at some entrances advising shoppers that the east side of the mall was on lockdown.
A TV screen at the rotunda had a message warning protesters to disperse, and the message was also played over the loudspeaker every 5 minutes. It read, This demonstration is not authorized and is in clear violation of Mall of America policy. All participants must disperse at this time. Those who continue to demonstrate will be subject to arrest.

The cops should have taken a cue from the NYPD and turned their backs on the protesters and let them run wild. A few weeks of that and the people will demand that the cops go back to their old evil ways.
It seems that interfering with peoples’ holiday shopping and travel isn’t good PR for their causes. However, they are typical LIBs/DIMs...all are mentally disturbed. Hopeless losers all. Have a Merry Christmas!
