North Korea probably has the skill to do this sort of hack and not be detected as do several other countries. If there are tracks back to the North Koreans there's as much chance that someone left those footprints leading back to them as there is that the Norks left a trail.

Pointing to the North Koreans ends the investigation into how it was done and who did it quickly, something the thugs in the current regime try to do every time they're caught screwing up.

In addition, Sony is a target with plenty of competitors who would like to hurt them and who might see the film coming out as their perfect opportunity to deal Sony a blow and frame someone else as the attacker.

At any rate, the nearly instant conclusion that it was North Korea seems all too convenient for some reason.

JMHO & thinking out loud

Seriously, stay skeptical.

Using the Norks is very convenient, and it may be a payback for something else they did.

But anything out of Holder's DOJ or FBI is suspect.

When the first beneficiary of the hack is Al Sharpton now getting a say into Sony Picture content, it becomes doubly suspicious.
