“For years to come, if any one says they once fought for ISIS, the correct response is a bullet between the eyes.”
I’m not so sure. Placing your enemy in a position where the only way out is to fight to the death is seldom a good strategy. Sun Tzu said to always leave your enemies a way out. I would make it clear that those may have committed serious crimes would have to face prosecution for those crimes and would have to face the consequences.
The other factor to consider is the propaganda impact by allowing them to come home and tell their stories of why they became disillusioned with ISIS. That could reduce or significantly reduce or eliminate the numbers wanting to join ISIS from Briton, Canada, etc.
We should just “disappear” them when caught.
A traitor should be killed on sight, without mercy. Let everyone know that once you commit there is no going back. Let IS deal with this trash.
They are like a dog that is rabid.
They need to be put down.
