Exactly....while we read here about a 3rd party the reality is a 3rd party would be extremely difficult to establish...better to take control of the Republican party. It wont be easy and it wont come soon but efforts are paying off. Our biggest prob is OURSELVES.....we need to narrow our field of candidates and and stop screaming RINO at the smallest thing a candidate says. Save our wrath for the real enemies within the GOPe!

Mark’s monologue struck a chord with a lot of listeners. He is the tip of the iceberg, and the GOP is in heap-big trouble with its base.

Where is Mr.Wehner’s commentary on John McCain calling conservatives “tea party hobbits” and “little people of Middle-earth”?

What about Mitch McConnel and his comments: “I think we are going to crush them everywhere” “I don’t think they are going to have a single nominee anywhere in the country”

What about John Boehner and his comments (and sounds): “lack all credibility” “using our Congressmen and the American people for their own goals” ( as if! those nasty TEA Party folk should know their place!)

There are many, many examples of the GOPe attacking conservatives and I don’t recall Mr.Wehner’s comments on THAT. Oh no, we must never say negative things about or betters, right, King George? Piss off.

Wehner and his ilk are theologians debating about how many angels can fit on the head of a pin, Mark is the passionate evangelist and is all about "winning souls" and following in the footsteps of Reagan. The people are moved by the evangelist, not the theologian. If Mark Levin, who has been a loyal Republican almost all of his life, says "he is an inch away," then these idiots like Wehner better recognize that the greater implication is that there are millions in the Republican base, also lifelong Republicans (like me), that are right there with him.

I will also continue to vote conservative, yet it is not enough. History shows we can send conservatives to congress into infinity and it will make little difference.

Something we don’t hear very often anymore since the demise of the USSR, is the leftist claim that socialism hasn’t worked anywhere, ever, because the right people haven’t been put in charge. Too many conservatives think the same, that all we need to do is elect the right people to “make the constitution work.” That concept removed us from a nation of laws in to that of a nation of men, and today’s accelerating tyranny.

Heck yeah! Go ahead and leave the GOP Mark and take us with you. It’s time to form a Conservative Party; to split off from the GOP like the Republican Party split from the Whigs in the mid-1800s. That move killed off the Whig Party, and, in less than 10 years, the new Republican Party had their candidate (Abe Lincoln) in the White House. LET’S FREAKIN’ DO IT!!!

Mr. Wehner’s pique is showing again. He seems to covet the role of Grand Inquisitor, attempting to excommunicate Mr. Levin from the house of conservative worship. He keeps ignoring that mote-and-beam-in-the-eye passage from the New Testament. Mr. Levin will be Mr. Levin. He has provided service to the nation in the Justice Department for which we are appreciative, as has Mr. Wehner provided service in the federal government. And I for one not being without sin can hardly cast the first stone in either direction. But one would hope that both Mr. Levin and Mr. Wehner would elevate their rhetoric to a higher plane and continue to enlighten us with information, wisdom and insight rather than vituperative bickering.
