I don’t understand why the Cubans who oppose the regime don’t rise up now.
This is the perfect time, with all the scrutiny on them. Castro can’t afford to lose face now by violently putting down the demonstrations.

Stealing from workers, exploiting workers, hobbling individuality, suppressing objections, etc....?
That’s not anything new for Communists... It is a very short step from wage fixing/price fixing to simply allowing wages to soar only to rake your ‘share’ right off the top.
