One idea I saw somewhere said to show the movie and offer a free ticket to every that open carries to the theater.
Theaters won’t show it due to the liability since there has been a threat - their attorneys are telling them ‘no’ to having it in their theaters. Sony needs to put it online if they want to stand up to the Norks. I doubt they’ll do that since if the movie is not released, they can get some kind of insurance payout (per a report on FOX last night). If they do put it online, no theater revenue & no insurance.
