I thought that the speaker could be anyone, even someone not a house member. If that is the case, I nominate Sarah Palin for speaker of the house.

She’d be better then Johnnie Boy...we need a speaker from the conservative wing of the Republican Parry, not the moderate wing of the Democrat Party.
