There is no reason to provide anything in a town of thugs, criminals and the people who let them burn the town to the ground.

I don't blame them for closing, but you seem to imply that everybody was in on the riots. Probably 1% or so were. The worst rioters came from Illinois.

that whole area is a zoo...the fact that some (not most) of the rioters lived on the other side of an imaginary line changes nothing..they were mostly locals and the locals did nothing to stop them

I think that many outsiders were responsible. However, the residents gave their tacit approval by standing by and watching it happen.
