Finally. That slogan always rubbed me the wrong way. Kinda made me think of the welcome wagon showing up. More like a global force for kickin' some butt and sinking your ship. In a kinder gentler way of course.

How about..
They gave us Bin Laden to take for a ride.
He made great shark bait when we tossed him aside.

Recently I heard a Navy recruiting ad on the radio, and it seemed like they were promoting the Navy as a delivery service for disaster relief aid around the globe.
They may be changing the slogan, but the liberals are still at the wheel.

This is what Navy personnel at sea and on shore get to experience at your local Navy installation:
To: rktman
"Navy...the smallest we've been since before World War I" "Navy...Our Nutjob SecNav Makes Us Run on $100/gallon Bio-fuel"
To: rktman
"Navy...We Have More Admirals Than Ships"

“Rum, sodomy, and the lash...”

I sort of liked
We want you!
We want you!
We want you as a new recruit!
(It was nearly used in real life until somebody told the Admiral, uh, about the, you know, Village People...)

You mean like Santa in fatigues?

The permanent slogan should be “We put ordnance on target.”
