The conceit exhibited by Mr. Corrigan is that white males are essentially along for the wonderful ride created by everybody else. In short, according to dopes like Corrigan, white males are just incidental to the fact that Americans enjoy the highest standard of living in the world. Even poor Americans are the richest (and fattest) poor people in the world.

Corrigan is just another liberal grad of journalism schools across the country that spew out morons like Corrigan on a regular basis. They neither understand why America is great nor how it became a great country.
