The White House on Wednesday said President Obama would have no reservations about visiting Cuba following the resumption of diplomatic talks between his administration and the Castro regime.

“It is not unprecedented for us to go places and interact with countries with whom we have a very fundamental difference of opinion about that country’s treatment of their citizens,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said, highlighting Obama’s recent trip to the communist nation of China.

“We engage those countries and we engage the leadership of those countries and we do so for a variety of reasons, and often it serves our national security interests to do so,” he insisted.

Secretary of State John Kerry is planning to travel to Cuba on behalf of the Obama administration.

This will somehow translate into his giving the guantanamo property back to his commie cuban friends. Sort of a carter/panama deal. What a great leader.

We could hope that he is captured Of course, ransom demands would be ignored because we do not pay ransom to terrorists.

I’m not hoping, I am praying!

I pray to God he would go and not come back.

He just gave up three actual spys/moles with American citizen blood on their hands (some were involved in passing info back to Cuba so they could shoot down a US private aircraft over international waters which was simply seerching for Cuban refugees).

Not surprised by this treacherous, traitorous administration.

They gave up the absolute worst Gitmo terrorists for a AWOL American who sought the Taliban enemy out, and faced absolutley no real cosequences over it...so of course they would continue in that mold. I expect more of the same by this Administration over the next two years.

Every president since Kennedy has been afraid to open relations with Cuba. But this one will do whatever he wants to do.

Wouldn’t it be against the law for him to negotiate with Castro? As if that would make a difference.

The only hope for this country is a military coup and that won’t happen since the army is loyal to the dictator. We’ve watched it happen right before our eyes.

My wife says this is to punish Louisiana for voting Landreau out of office. Cuban sugar will wipe out Louisiana’s sugar industry.

He’ll officially hand Guantanamo back to Cuba, bank on it.

Obama will sweeten the pot by offing to PAY billions to Castro for the 'illegal' use of Guantanamo all these years...

In exchange Castro will give Obama - and the people of the United States - a small worthless seashell that had been stuck in his boot.

Only if the sugar lobby removes the protective tariff and processing requirements. Years ago was involved with Dominican sugar— not allowed to be processed or used for US products— chiclets or any other candy made in the Carribean by US companies.

Check out the Fanjul’s (residents of Bahamas) on US sugar ownership. Been a while— don’t know if GM still owns US SugarCorp. Or who owns Dixie Crystals or Diamond out of Sugarland, TX.

A positive view of the potential. Like it.

One major thing to keep in mind— the deal with Cuba after missile crisis— well the Florida tourism hotel conglomerates went with it big time. They will not sit well with a major competitor in Cuba— all over Cuba. This is why the 50’s libs LOVE Cuba— it is stuck in the 50’s and is run by a cartel of evil leftwing “sophistos”— just like Hollywood. A criminal haven.

We have been legally leasing Gitmo for all the years we have been there. Castro (Fidel) likes to brag how he hasn’t ever cashed one check. It is a 100 year legal lease signed under treaty. We’ve been paying the rent and have the documentation. So, no there would not be any “payment” unless obamaumao decreed it. This a@@ must be stopped.

The US has leased Gitmo for use as a coaling and naval station in the Cuban–American Treaty of 1903 -for $2,000 until 1934, for $4,085 since 1938, annually, until now. And paid every year. If Castro hasn’t cashed them since he’s been there that’s his problem. We keep records.

Cousteau visited him on Natl. Geographic- and he showed him a drawer full of US Treasury drafts.

Yeah

The communist subversive queer in the WH threw a lifeline to his fellow marxists, most likely on orders from his KGB handler Jarrett.

With the run on the banks in Russia happening and Venezuela crashing, the Cubans were about to go all Ceausescu on that faggot Raul Castro and his immortal brother.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Or more than equal.

The CPUSA is on borrowed time.

OBAMA EMBRACE THE CUBAN GENOCIDE REGIME

Obama and Raúl Castro thank pope for breakthrough in US-Cuba relations.

Pope Francis, before visiting The Holy Land boasted to be himself the “Che” of the Palestinian people.

A Marxist leaning Pope blessed the Marxist American president embrace of Castro's genocide communist regime condemning the Cuban enslaved people to eternal damnation. On the deal Castro liberated an American illegally imprisoned in Cuba in exchange for the freedom of three Cuban spies serving prison terms in U.S. and the normalization of relations with a country that occupied for decades a top position in the list of the State Department ‘s terrorist countries.

The Cuban regime tried to obliterate New York and Washington with a nuclear attack during the October Missile Crisis of 1962. “In November 1962, the Castro brothers’ and Che Guevara’s agents had targeted Macy’s, Gimbels, Bloomingdales, and Manhattan’s Grand Central Station with a dozen incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT. The Holocaust was set for detonation the following week, on the day after Thanksgiving.” (Humberto Fontova)

Castro has been a strong ally of Islamic terrorism. Cuba continues to serve as a base for coordination and mutual support among transnational terrorist organizations. At Tehran University he stated to the thunderous applause of students and faculty, "The imperialist king will finally fall,” (AFP, May 10, 2001). Immediately afterward the Iranian Press Service proudly proclaimed that "Iran and Cuba reached the conclusion that together they can tear down the United States.” (IPS, May 10, 2001).

According to World renown and highly respected American investigative journalist and author, Claire Sterling, : “All of the world’s emerging terrorist bands in the 1970’s were indebted to the Cubans and their Russian patrons for that honeycomb of camps around Havana. None could have started without rudimentary training, and those who didn’t train in Cuba were trained by others who did.” (“The Terror Network, The Secret War on International Terrorism.”)

As reported by Sterling, “Castro was training the advance guards of the coming European fright decade – Palestinians, Italians, Germans, French, Spanish Basques – and forming guerrilla nuclei in practically every Western hemisphere state south of the American border. As far back as 1962, Castro’s camps were taking in 1,500 Latin American guerrillas a year. . ‘Any revolutionary movement anywhere in the world can count on Cuba’s unconditional support,’ declared Castro at the 1966 Tricontinental Conference in Havana”. It was then and there that the international terrorism network was consolidated under Castro’s leadership.”

Fidel Castro “jailed political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin during the Great Terror. He murdered more Cubans in his first three years in power than Hitler murdered Germans during his first six. He came closer than anyone in history to starting a world-wide nuclear war.” Humberto Fontova. (http://www.carolinajournal.com/opinions/display_story.html?id=11121)

It is suicidal turning a blind eye to Castro, a deadly enemy at 90 miles south of Key West that does not hide his hatred for U.S.

After the restoration of diplomatic relations comes the end of the embargo.

To complete Obama’s betrayal of the American people, with the normalization of relations comes the opening to Cuba of the American and International bank credits that will sustain the Cuban regimen passing to the American taxpayers the same heavy burden that helped to bankrupt the Soviet Union.
