MICHELLE MALKIN
Allow me to unite Americas left, right, and center in just three words: No, Jeb, No. Floridas former GOP governor Jeb Bush made the obvious official this week when he announced on Facebook that hes actively exploring a 2016 White House run. Of course hes running. Thats what inveterate politicians do. Well, I hate to break it to Jeb Inc. Theres no popular groundswell for Bush Part III. None, zip, nada. Independents, progressives, and conservatives are all weary of the entrenched bipartisan dynasties that rule Washington and ruin America. Only in the hallowed bubble of D.C. and New York City elites does a Jeb Bush presidential bid make any sense.

I like Michelle. I miss seeing her on Fox.
Jeb Bush, the Chamber-pot water boy.
At least SOMEONE still has sense, over at NR...
Thank you, Michelle!
Wow. When even National Review is telling you you’re a RINO, you should listen.
Bush / Clinton 2016!
Uniparty Wins!
BTT
How did an actual conservative, Michelle Malkin, sneak her nose under the RINO Tent at National GOPe Review?
When are we going to start boycotting Chamber of Commerce members to let them know we do not approve of their agenda?
I know this would hurt local small businesses, but perhaps it would make them rethink their membership, which would hurt the local CoC’s and eventually the national CoC.
Water boy my a**. Butt boy. Jeb is a tool. The Great OZ has spoken.
The MSM will choose Jeb for us, then destroy him. How many of these cycles do we need to go through, folks?
No one woke today in the USA and said “I can’t wait to vote for Jeb.” Nada, zip, zero no man women or child.
Of course, the GOP has nominated establishment types in the last two presidential election cycles and both nominees have gone down to Obama in the general elections (if you believe that the reported vote totals were anywhere near truthful, especially in the 2012 race). Seems as if the one of the problems for the grassroots conservative wing of the Party in 2012 in the primary season was that there were several attractive candidates who split that vote vs. the one viable establishment candidate (Romney). That split among the conservative candidates, combined with the unfortunate "winner take all" rules for apportioning delegates in many state primaries, combined also with allowing 'Rats to cast ballots in some states, gave Romney a large advantage.
The rules for the 2016 primary season will undoubtedly favor the establishment again. But the key for the grassroots "Tea Party" wing in the 2016 primaries will be to get behind a single candidate. That's the only way to beat the biased system and nominate an unabashed conservative not afraid to fight against amnesty for illegals and to fight tooth and nail for repeal of Obamacare, lock, stock, and barrel. Such a candidate would beat the 'Rats decisively in the general election.
Jeb Bush isn't that candidate!
Good choice, but I'm not sure if he's interested.
We have to get behind ONE conservative candidate EARLY in the process to avoid a repeat of '08 and '12!
This is true. Ted Cruz has too many enemies, and Rand Paul is naive on Foreign Affairs... Maybe Marco Rubio... I don’t know
