Israel suffered back-to-back diplomatic setbacks in Europe on Wednesday as Palestinians headed to the United Nations to try to set a two-year deadline for an Israeli withdrawal.
In Geneva, the international community delivered a stinging rebuke to Israel’s settlement construction in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, saying the practice violates Israel’s responsibilities as an occupying power.
The declaration adopted by the conference of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which governs the rules of war and military occupation, emphasized a prohibition on colonizing occupied land and insisted that international humanitarian law be obeyed in areas affected by the conflict between Israel and Palestinians. It called for “all serious violations” to be investigated and those responsible for breaches to be brought to justice. …

Israel is occupying Israel and Europe wants the Jews to get out of the occupied land. If the Jews were to evacuate Israel I daresay they would be then banned from entering Europe and probably the USA.

Eu and Israel both suffer from an islamoNazi enrmy. Both within and without. The difference is that Israel intends to survive ( and thrive) whereas eu leaders are continuing to sell out their countries and peoples. This helps explain those eu leaders’ mad frenzy attack against Israel - she’s jyst a very embarrassing example that the eu leaders fear may inspire their own French , Italian, British, etc people to rise up and Demand their countries back

Indeed. While Zionism was in the early days rejected by many Jews (mostly orthodox Jews), it didn’t carry the negative connotation it has today. I believe even a Tory like Churchill proclaimed himself a Zionist. Albeit some British leadership maybe cursed Zionism under their breath because of all the conflicting promises they made to Jews and the Arabs in their occupation.
