I would not be surprised if 0bama unilaterally decides to give Guantanamo to Castro.

Would not shock me at all if that were the REAL reason this is happening. Force Gitmo to close, one way or the other.

Other than that I'm not sure what the break in relations accomplished. Certainly did not bring about the fall of the Castro regime. And we already have diplomatic relations with many countries as bad, or worse.
