Game of Thrones' Star Maisie Williams Slams Emma Watson's 'First-World Feminism'

Maisie Williams, who is best known for playing Arya Stark on HBO's Game of Thrones, is backtracking on her support for Emma Watson. On September 20, Watson generated tons of positive buzz for her HeForShe speech at the U.N., which aimed to "galvanize as many men and boys to be advocates for change" in the issue of gender equality.

When speaking with The Guardian earlier this week, Williams, 17, said she considers herself a feminist, "though it’s not an issue high on her agenda," the writer noted.

I am beginning to believe that any “talent” genes in our movie dolts steal directly from their “intelligence” genes.

Even more interesting is that it is the most ardently feminist types who are also the most bimbo-like.

Go figure.

(My wife quite strongly and ably defends her sex. And, as an added bonus, she’d have to be dead for a century or so before her IQ would sink to the level of Dorkbama and Mooch-elle.)

Good to know there are two of us. I can’t stand GOT. Everyone around me loves it. I think it is pretty amateurish.

I lost interest in season 1, and quit early into season 2.

“Pretty amateurish” is a good observation.

I had not been thinking specifically of that, but yes, you are absolutely correct.

Keep in mind that Hollywood's ruling class is very Leftist. Smart actresses either spout the Party line, or learn to keep their mouths shut if they want to work.

Let’s try to set the record on this thread for mindless chatting having no relation to what the original story is about. We’re off to a good start.
