One of Jeb Bush’s assignments is to neutralize the Conservative base, sort of like the Obama administration trying it with the Tea Party. And if he can become President, so much the better.
What a great idea!
Talk strategy with a bunch of losers.
Not a single young thinker in the bunch.
Anyone care to bet Bush already has Steve Schmitt on his staff?
The name Bush is anathema to a majority of Americans, for numerous reasons. He has zero chance.
I do know that wretched Mike Murphy is part of the Dauphin Bush’s court.
Just because his dad and brother are past presidents, doesn’t mean he would be good. Ok, maybe he did good as Governor of Florida, but I am sick of Clintons, Bushes, and especially Zeros.....
Wenow have 3 political parties. The Liberals, The Conservatives and The Establishment.
I thought McCain and Romney pretty much proved that the GOP needed the base. It’s not called the base for nothing.
GOP ratings from https://www.conservativereview.com/
Mike Lee A 100%
Ted Cruz A 95%
Mitch McConnell D 60%
John Boehner F 43%
Jeff Flake F 43%
Thad Cochran F 39%
Thanks!
Not surprised at all
I am the GOP base and I will not vote for Jeb Bush. I’m tired of having a liberal in the White House. I’m also tired of having to vote for the better of two evils.
Not his own peril. Dismissing the base will not affect his nomination. The base will wear itself and its candidates out in the early primaries aided by judicious use of Bush money that attacks nastily and effectively whoever leads in those early primaries. When the conservatives are out of money and battered by all the super negative advertising they all, not being Reagans, are prone to then Bush will easily mop up the later primaries. It is a tried and effective strategy. Bush will then go on to lose the Election which is not a real loss for him because he doesn’t really want to win that. He, like other Republican mainliners just wants the honor of being nominated. Being a Bush he won’t actually throw the election like McCain or Dole but he will not try very hard to win in the mold of some other Bushes we have known. The Conservative base will stay home in larger numbers than previously because that bridge really will be too far.
It doesn’t matter if Bush loses the conservative base...Bush will appeal to enough liberals that he likely will get in without us...
The Clintons and Bushes are so close they are like family to each other...Likely it doesn’t matter to the Council on Foreign Relations which one wins since they both have the ultimate goal of trashing the Nation in favor of a New World Order; a One World Gov’t...
No Jeb, no way, no how.
No such critter exists in this day and age. You are either a conservative independent or a liberal republican/democrat.
