I've been asked to get things off shelves in stores more than once.
I thought it was because I'm tall.
I didn't realize that it was racism/sexism.

Because she didn't see me as the first lady, she saw me as someone who could help her. Those kinds of things happen in life. So it isn't anything new. Now had the woman addressed her as "Your Royal Highness", kneeled and kissed her hand prior to her request, everything would have been fine.
