Obama tells People magazine that every black professional male his age has had someone hand over their keys while waiting outside a restaurant. That happened to him, he said.

He would merit more respect had he had a real job, such as being a valet or doorman. He would have learned a lot. Instead, it is said that he used the money of others to slither his way through an Ivy League education, the absolute worst way of learning life’s lessons.

I have had the same experience; wearing clothes from work makes me being mistaken for a store clerk, asking me where the changing rooms are at and to ring things up.
Actually, the TRUTH of the matter is that he's been mistaken for a valet, while he was walking to the store to get Purple Drank and Skittles, followed around by the Shoplift Prevention Team, as his nearby black church burned. Cops were shooting at him even though his hands were up, telling him to shine their shoes while he was at it, in the back of that public bus he took to his segregated school that Martin Luther King was marching past. All the time he was being chased by the slave owners the minute he tried to use the Whites Only drinking fountain, on the way to be rejected by the mortgage company because his neighborhood was redlined.
And every little bit of this is God's Honest Truth, by gum.
After all, Obama is known for being 100 percent honest 100 percent of the time!!!

Hey, Barry, if you were mistaken for a valet it was because you carry yourself like a hapless flake incapable of performing a job requiring more intelligence and ability than that of a valet. All the more reason intelligent, thinking people STILL can not believe you were elected president. Judging you to be a valet is a perfect fit who you really are.
I seriously doubt this. Most valets I've seen are hard working. Obama is just plain lazy.

I agree, happened to me too! But because I’m not holding the racial grievance card I just chalked it up to an honest mistake.
I understand that Obama has sometimes been mistakenlu identified as a president.
That STILL brings me a fair amount of joy.
I had a very insulting thing happen to me at a restaurant once.
We received some very rude “service” from a gal of urban persuasion while ordering food. Quote “da bitch change her mine agin!”
We asked to see the manager. They trotted out some pasty white cook guy to talk to us. There just happened to be a nice looking, professionally dressed black woman standing a little off to the side, listening to our complaint.
The assumption was that we YTs wouldn’t want to talk to a black manager, so they had to bring out the white dude as a facade.
Insulting to the max.
