” He retired shortly after I left the Biz. Dunno what became of him.”
He is a lobbyist, working in Trent Lotts firm : 0
One of the reporters I worked with is an aid for a Penn. Democrat senator/congressman. The two stupidest people on earth are the people at my old paper and the manager of that pol. They hired perhaps the most functionally insane liberal in America.
If the congress won’t impeach Obama for the use of the IRS to sway an election, they will never impeach him. We’re in for two or years of whatever he decides to do.
I grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, so I am a veritable expert on functionally insane liberals.
This is the one you may have seen me post about before. Argued in a room full of newstypes and customers that 1+1 did not HAVE to equal 2 and invoked Quantum physics/mechanics to back his position. Had a screaming fit then and there when opposed, then nearly got fired. Was upset at everyone because they were all clueless dolts for not agreeing.
Top that ;)
It was an ordinary memorandum
I can’t top that.
You win.
LOL
That was only one of a thousand. I swear on my daughter’s life it is no lie. He really did that. The management was too scared to fire him within a week of the hire because they forsaw lawsuits. He even cost a couple accounts with his BS.
The day he left, he was mortified that no one in that office would wish him well. or even stand and shake his hand. Left in a huff.
We had a great next day ;)

“Mr. Obtuse & the Broom”
Coming soon!
I think it was caused by his sense of entitlement. Obtuse is the perfect descriptor. You know how people talk about unique little snowflakes? Man this guy was one. Whole life of being told he was special and Peter Principled everywhere because he learned one thing. Milk the liberalism.
He was a competent writer. Not exceptional in any way. He could write a coherent sentence. that’s it. He knew the buzzwords and the lib dogwhistles to get hired. But it always seemed he was a short timer. And ALWAYS because he was too good for the idiots he worked with so he left for something more appreciative of his perfection.
Here’s something to ponder. The Kid (who met and knew this freak) tells me the national press that followed Hagel on the Doomsday plane were almost entirely his clones. All but one. And the one was arguably only partially liberal.
” Whole life of being told he was special and Peter Principled everywhere because he learned one thing. Milk the liberalism.”
Perspicacious conservatives currently in college do this too,
albeit from the reverse: ) I talked to one conservative undergrad who told me he when he had a left wing professor, he would would out left the prof, while heaping praise on the mope. He would get his A, then next semester, tell him he had converted to conservatism. All he wanted to do was get an MBA, so he “milked” the left wing profs. LOL.
Smart lad ;) He shall go far.
He went very far, owns food franchises. I think he is around 30 now.
I love a happy ending. Hoist on their own petard ;)
exactly
Good this is still in play. Combined with the ruling in Pennsylvania the momentum is on our side. Important to keep the brakes on this until the cavalry arrives in Jan.
I have my doubts about the Judge in the DC Circuit hearing the Arpaio motion. But I have high confidence in the Judge presiding over the Abbott (24+ State) lawsuit.
And yes Judge Schwab who wrote the 30 page opinion ruling that Obama’s Executive Amnesty Action is unconstitutional greatly strengthens the Arpaio and 24+ State lawsuits and recent reports say that Judge Schwab’s opinion has already been amended to all motions and pleadings now before the Federal Courts.
Additionally 27 Congress members and growing have filed amicus briefs to the 24+ State lawsuit.
Momentum is indeed building.
I should have more details later.
He signed DACA.
That hasn’t been ruled on. Judge Reed in Texas said it wasn’t in his jurisdiction for ICE Agents to sue DHS.
Bttt
