That’s because they replaced all the M151s with CUCVs and HMMWVs. No more M151s to sell at surplus because they didn’t have any more period. :P

Agree. They were fairly peppy as I recall. I’m thinking the reason they were stopped from being sold on the civilian market was due to roll-overs caused by the rear wheels folding under in a hard turn (The rear had independent suspension).
