It is better to be feared than to be loved.

Antics?

Sounds like another looney liberal headline editor is trying to throw mud.

Yawn. Get used to it. Ted will be targeted by every liberal wack-job for the rest of his life.

(Before during and after his successful 8 year term as president!)

way to go Ted.

screw up their weekend.

offer private apology with no promise you won’t do it to them again.

Though I wish he could have a few heads off brick walls as he did so.

Cruz has my vote.

"To my colleagues I apologize to forcing you to do your job."

And people wonder why Congress has an approval rating in the teens.

I’m not concerned at all about what holiday plans of theirs were ruined - for the millstones they’ve tied around American’s necks they can holiday in hell. Cruz needn’t apologize to those traitors.

I’m hoping this was said sarcastically! Not sure about the rest of you but not many real tax payers get a month off for “the holidays”.

If Ted did actually ‘apologize’, it was probably meant to be sarcastic. “For those of you most horribly inconvenienced’ by being ‘forced’ to perform the functions for which you are chronically overpaid, I offer my most humble of apologies, while winking and crossing my fingers”.

"Ted Cruz apologizes to colleagues over antics"

"regretted if any of his colleagues’ schedules were ruined"

Cruz didn't regret his ACTIONS, which were proper. He regretted messing up his opponents' WEEKENDS.

Which are you more concerned about, the Constitution or RINO cocktail parties?

Cruz apologized for interrupting the cocktail parties, not defending the Constitution.

New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte had returned home Friday night with plans to see “The Nutcracker” with her children on Saturday, but suddenly she scrapped her plans when she got the call that she needed to head back to the airport and return to Washington.

Ted you bad ass meanie! The poor children, how could you be so cruel?

Um... hardly an apology

He said he regretted if them missed any weekend plans

Not the same as saying he was sorry for bringing up the constitutional point of order.

But now Dems will run around saying “Senator Cruz HAD TO APOLOGIZE for pulling a stunt like this” next time any republican shows some balls.

Typical Leftico BS - Cruz isn’t saying he’s sorry for what did, he’s apologizing for what he did to some RINOs. It’s sarcasm and I bet Ted would do it again and again and again.

According to five senators who attended Tuesday’s caucus lunch, Cruz offered the apology in unsolicited remarks

Sorry Politico, but I don't believe you nor these 5 losers, all of which have axes to grind. I'll wait to hear from Cruz himself before deciding what really happened.

“...saying that he regretted if any of his colleagues’ schedules were ruined by his maneuvering...”

Sorry Politico progressives, the above DOES NOT EQUAL AN APOLOGY for standing in defense of the constitution.
