I’m more offended by naming things after career politicians unless they’ve been dead a hundred years. I have to ride down “Bill Morris Parkway” on occasion, I find that “offensive” my wife and I may have been the only two in Shelby County, Tn. to never vote for him. We just call it the 385.
Charlottesville, VA, now has a John Warner Parkway.

Shelby County was named for Gov. Isaac Shelby while he was still living.
