One day after saying Elizabeth Warren and Ted Cruz had no idea “what they were trying to accomplish,” syndicated columnist George Will said Monday on “Special Report” the pair have two “exceedingly strange careers underway.”
Will told Fox News’ Doug McKelway that Cruz is “indifferent” to politics being a “team sport,” adding further that there hasn’t been “a more peculiar career” in the Senate than the one Cruz is currently enjoying.
The conservative columnist also said while Democrats are “bemused” by his antics, he is “loathed” within the GOP caucus, while also telling McKelway if Cruz doesn’t get the GOP nomination in 2016, assuming he runs for it, his return to Washington will be “awkward.”

Politics is a team sport, George is just upset that Ted doesn’t change teams once he is in office.

And yes, this is a war. This is a war that will decide whether the United States survives in any form resembling that which the Founders created. We have very few chances left, maybe only one.
As I see it right now, Ted Cruz is the only one who might be able to reverse the decline, and even then, it will be an almost impossible task.
Is Cruz perfect? No. Will he make mistakes? Of course.
The last perfect man was killed by his government about 2,000 years ago.

Senator Cruz knows it’s a team sport, he’s leading the Conservative team. Unlike George Will, Senator Cruz realizes that the republicans have become team “Washington Generals” to democrats team “Harlem Globe Trotters”. Senator Cruz would like to re-establish team “Conservative Republican”.
George Will is often “loathed” by many for his inside-the-beltway-itis.
If there ever was a badge of honor, being loathed by establishment, big-government types is it.

George Will took the MSM big money and sold out over 20 years ago. It made him rich, but he sold his soul to the devil to do it.

I don’t if anyone else knows this. George Will is a BIG TIME Chicago Cubs fan. So when he talks about Cruz not being a “team” player is probably a good thing.
