"Loathed within the GOP caucus"? That means he is doing something right.

Yeah, but the problem is the rest of the U.S. seems not to be on the ‘team’.

A team sport played by one team. Yeah right, Mr. Wont.
Real Americans have another name for that: a one-party state. That is totalitarianism, Mr. Wont.

George, the team is the people.
It is not a sport, it is life.
It is not power, it is principle.
George, you are upset that he is a threat to you and your kind, who stand to lose power to the will of the people.
Go count your money, for you cannot count your principles.
To: South40
George will is unaware that government is not supposed to be a freeking sporting event, the damned fool.

Actually, Cruz is the only team member (We the people team) standing tall. The GOPe is playing for the other side.

After everyone dumps on Will, watch, he’s going to start talking about baseball a whole lot, later.
He does that to try and shore up his Americana chops.
That guy is SUCH a Northeastern, tweedy, elbow-patched, crayola-wearing TWERP.
He’s male Peggy Noonan, basically.

So he’s pissed of George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Jennifer Rubin and the Vichy Republicans? Sounds good to me!

Old George “Go along to get along” Will; he’s everything that is wrong about the Ruling Elite that is leading our nation and people to ruin.

I refuse to read or listen to anything by RINOs. That’s why the likes of Bill OâReilly and George Will are irrelevant to me. If it’s not backed by Free Republic, it’s not factual. Yes, things are as unambiguous as that.

I guess that's a nice line that sounds good on its surface however - when the team decides to lay down its up to the captain to motivate the team to fight and win.
Plus - if Will is referring to the RAT's as well - why is it that its only the Pub's that are expected to play nice?
