Cruz refuses to stand down

Nearly half of Senate Republicans did not stand with Cruz, with Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Jeff Flake (Ariz.) labeling his move “counterproductive.”

And there's the problem. Republican wimps refuse to defend the constitution.

Exactly what specific procedural loophole did Cruz open for Reid by forcing a vote on the constitutionality of Obama's amnesty actions?

It real;ly appears this loophole argument has just been made up out of a thin air because the loophole is never identified in any article on the subject. In point of fact, Reid was always going to hold votes on the nominations at issue and nothing was going to stop him from doing so.

How could other Republicans continue to suggest that Cruz’s actions allowed Reid to push through the remaining nominations? The Cromnibus is has passed, and the Senate could adjourn but Reid continues to hold the Senate in session. He had that power before Cruz’s point of order, and he never intended to relinquish it.

We need a Conservative party, that will get the Conservative Religious Right, Some Libertarians, conservative leaning independents, and a big part of the true Republican conservative base.
