If the PD at the city I once worked for had the Humvees it would have saved the taxpayers thousands of dollars in new transmissions. Those Crowns Vic’s have a serious design flaw on the transmission pan that when it comes in contact with the concrete curb after jumping it at pursuit speed thus driving a small pin into the transmission which destroys it.
Damn Ford engineers anyway...
