The Australian National Imams Council, together with the Grand Mufti of Australia, issued a statement saying it "condemns this criminal act unequivocally". That's extremely rare. Usually, they sidestep actual condemnation.

The Imams were speaking about the shooting of their Jihadist “freedom” fighter.

That's extremely rare. And it (the Council's statement) means nothing. Will the Australian National Imams Council expel radical preachers from their midst? Will they report Islamists who might be plotting violence to the police?
Or will they just issue vague statements after events have occurred?
