More accurately, it is like going from a Catholic School to a juvenile delinquent, lord-of-the-flies holding facility.

Sending kids to public school is child abuse.

LOL. That is the truth.

I remember when I had to have my kids go to a school outside their district; the principal was the authority from whom I had to seek permission, which was given, but was conditioned on me moving into the area within a 6-month time period (IIRC). He extended the time period...but explained that they have district rules and children residing within the school area have priority and if their numbers fill by those students, my children could not (technically/legally? I can’t remember) stay.
