Australia will now learn son hard lessons. Their gun ban could very well reverse itself. Unfortunately; the logic employed by the leftist gun-grabbers is that incidents like this are precisely why they 'need' strict gun-control, and that even stricter gun-control would have prevented this. Of course; they will completely overlook the true cause of this, which is the so-called 'religion of peace'. If anyone dares to point that out, they will be branded 'racist' (even though islam is not a race, so I am not sure how that applies)

I believe they did away with autoloading long guns. I remember reading at one point that shotgun owners would be able to exchange their auto shotguns for a Beretta Over/Under at Gov’t expense. Don’t know if that came to pass, but personally I’d take a good O/U shotgun over an autoloader any day of the week, but that’s just me.
