They’ve said it’s a popular tourist spot so it’s quite possible there are that many.
The fire door is still open, with police standing just outside, and I hope more hostages will come out. I don’t know if the few who have come out were allowed to leave or if they escaped. Maybe we’ll hear more soon, now that a few have come out.

Ok, I’m not sure about the number but heard it on news...Al Jazeera or OAN...I have been channel surfing looking for news on Sidney hostages. AS with all new breaking news it takes days to sort out the numbers truth.
