Well with those bad a$$ good guys heading towards the terrorist bastard(s), I know what I would do. Line up hostages against the window. Backs facing window. Oh, I’d have blindfolds on the hostages and hands tied.
I don’t know what the big padded thing is that the second guy is carrying but I’m guessing its some kind of shielding.
