The primaries are the establishment’s Achilles heal.

We have history with third parties. It's not good.

We "need" another party, but a substitution of a third party for the Republicans would require a transition period with dominance of the Democrats. We all can see how much damage Ovbama did in just his first two years with carte blanche to do whatever he wanted. I don't think the Republic could survive. The only option is to wrest control from the eGOP.

Sorry, of course that should have read bray. I catch hell in the party all the time for speaking out on behalf of conservatives. But when I do others start coming out of the woodwork. We are a conservative party we have been beaten down. It's very possible to take back the party but we have to do it one vote at a time, one election at a time.
When Mississippis’ happen when Boehner sabotages us we need to start planning their demise immediately! Not giving up and starting over.
There is no better example of how to win elections either than Col. Bray,he has it down.
I don't think we need to dump the party. Just take it back.

Why is Rove (director of the coverup of Iraqi WMD) even on FOX "News"?

That said,
Feinstein says the alleged torture is a "stain".
There was one stain and it was removed to protect
the attackers, who thereafter could not even be
identified by a name.

Sadly you are right. And exactly what I was thinking! Just how much damage the commies could do in several more terms. There might not be anything left to save when they are through gutting the country.

The way to do what you want is to have a secondary...... a process that selects the conservative candidate from the field before the primary.

The winner of the GOPc secondary becomes the GOPc candidate in the primary.

GOPc = conservative Republicans

Hope you’re right, but we know who is in charge and they will never give up their power. Whose to say there are not enough ticked off in both Parties that a true conservative Party wouldn’t win?

We need to start supporting a conservative candidate for the Presidency right now and get behind one and only one and hope we can fund him/her to the extent where they will be relevant.

Actually you know better.

We here at FR are part of a very small select group that is incredibly politically astute.

The rest of conservative voters have some political expertise but it's so small they are unable to put the bigger picture together the way we do here without even thinking about it. And we can only do it because we live and breathe politics.

The rest of the world does not. They live in a world of Survivor, the Voice and Monday night football. Remove them from that world and they are virtually lost.

Everything looks easy and seems easy to you since you are at the literal top of the mountain that everyone else is still climbing.

Cheney is spectacular....one segment near the end is priceless. F Chuck Todd plays gotcha with a 20 year old Cheney clip in which Dick explains what could happen in the middle east.

Todd follows with "almost everything you worried about has happened". (Todd pauses awaiting a mea culpa from Cheney. It does not come.) Cheney finally says, "so what's your question ?"

With GOP ‘leadership’ who needs Dems? Who voted against this in the house and senate? I know some were Dems who thought it was for Wall Street...

Starting a third party (or really a fifth party, since Libertarian and Greens are third and fourth) would help cement the Dems as the PARTY and we would go down the Socialist path...to Marxism.

When I was first in the Permian Basin back in 2011, I was told that wells would be fracked so long as the price of crude was above $30/bbl. Consider that as technology improves completion costs reduce... plus other infrastructure has already been capitalized (not sure of debt load in general). That probably offsets inflation, rise in labor costs and such.

One thing that is axiomatic, however, is as the price for a raw commodity drops, the production cost will drop as efficiency metrics are squeezed... OR as production costs drop, more of the commodity is available in the market, and the commodity price drops.

All I can say is that is in our best interests to get the F, dash, dash, dash out of the Middle East. Let them all suicide bomb their women and children. Let them all behead each other and fight over who gets to screw the 72 virgin goats. Let the sands all be turned to glass in a nuclear holocaust, and let CHINA send hundreds of thousands of their surplus wage slaves (currently working in the novelty fake plastic dogshit factory) to police their energy supply.

Cruz is the one behind whom we coalesce. The weekend budget kerkuffle produced lots of negative stories about Cruz, but the comments in all those stories were very supportive of Cruz standing up and fighting. It was about 30 to 1, by my estimations. Cruz has lots of support. RINO's have none.

Can you imagine an R primary debate between Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz ? I can. Jeb would want to change his party affiliation after being undressed by Ted
