The federal government should get out of education altogether. For that matter, there should be no government involvement in education at any level. The worse thing that happened to this country was government taking over most of the responsibility for schools and colleges. Education will not improve until education is privatized. Until then, it will continue to increase in costs and decrease in quality. Government can’t run a 2-car funeral.

I’ll accept local gov. involvement in education, not my first choice but federal? no.
The Dept. of Education should be abolished.
