I oppose radical Islamist as much as the next guy but this smacks of the blood libel that used to be claimed against the Jews. I don’t believe one bit of it.
The PLO, Yasser Arafats bunch, provably used abducted people as living blood banks during their little Beirut fiasco in the 1980’s.
Also, Muslims love doing interesting things with knives to captives.
But you won’t hear anyone in the media admit as much.
I am somewhat leery of this kind of report, unless it is verified with real evidence like still, or video recordings
On the other hand though, after spending considerable time in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the middle east, working with and against certain of the islamic faith, my opinion is that many of the adherents of islam are semi-literate and very much superstitious, to the point that I could believe some of what is being reported in this article.
