The logical thing to do is enact a tariff on imported oil - with an exception for Canadian oil not reexported from the Eastern Hemisphere. Stabilize our prices and let the Saudi’s whipsaw other countries’ markets.We should NOT be melting down our drilling rigs for scrap, and we should NOT dissipate the intellectual capital we have built up in our domestic productive capabilities.
