Bonehead actually believes that the message of the last election was that the people wanted the GOP to cave to the Rats in the interest of “bipartisanship”.

I don't think he believes that. I just think that he and the GOPe really want big government, because they want the power that it brings them.

They have no interest in limited government (which means limited power for them).

Spot on. When the GOPe last controlled all three branches what happened:

Out of control spending went up.

Personal freedoms went down.

Government power over the citizenry went up.

How is that any different than when Dems are in power?
