I wasn’t thrilled with the ambiguity of a bunch of murderous gun and drug running thugs being the heroes of the show.
Jax talked a good game about wanting to turn it into something better but every action he took seemed calculated to make things worse. I would have stayed with the show if they had actually been moving away from the criminal behavior and turning into something good. It didn’t need to end perfectly, just hopefully.
At least with Breaking Bad, Walt got what he had coming to him and Jesse got his final escape from the drug scene that he sought.
I predicted that Jax would kill himself on the cycle on the same stretch of road where his father died in a cycle crash. I knew he had to die for atonement for his sins and that seemed to be the only way he would do it.
Juice turned rat.
I predicted the ending with three shows to go. There were some clues as Jax looked into the death of his father and notes he had made. I just knew that the would atone for his sins by crashing the cycle in the same way his father did.
Well, they kept referring to that, but I never knew who he ratted to and about what or why.
I am not an expert, but I think it goes back to Juice throwing in with Clay. He sided with Clay in Season 6. The in season 7 he killed the cop that was protecting Tara after Gemma killed Tara and he did not tell Jax that Gemma did it.
Because someone lying to themselves and to others about their anatomy constitutes honesty?

To be sure! It’s a ‘safe, inconsequential’ way to voyeur into the minds eye of inhumane brutality. And to that, you hit the nail on the head. I realized that’s what had mesmerized me with this genre of entertainment. Being the overthinker I am, I asked myself why in the hell am I so entertained by Hollywood’s glamorous spin on behavior I wouldn’t condone in reality. Thus it lost it’s magic on me. I refuse to contribute to Hollywood’s glorification & acceptance of the human race’s moral demise.
Actually, it’s pretty good. If I cared, I’d send it to my “b”unt of a sister.
But I don’t.
In Hollywood, that would be correct.
I knew he was going to die but I thought that all the Presidents from the other chapters would vote to kill him because of his murder of the other president. That was their rule...kill a member and then you die. I knew that wouldn’t be dramatic enough but just didn’t foresee another ending.
I love this show and hate to see it end. I even named my dog Jax ;-) Definitely 2 thumbs up.
Let’s see them make the same kind of series about the New Black Panthers, or the Chinese Tong, or MS-13 or a dozen others.
His dad was black. The AT agent was blackmailing him to try to bring every MC and the IRA up on RICO charges. And the sons had a rule about no black members. Then Jax made Juice kill nero’s brothers old lady after promising he would protect her. Juice cracked and told Nero tge truth. So then Juice was out.
The Soprano follow-up is Lillehammer.
= = = = = = = = = =
I have Lillehamer ‘saved’ on Netflix.
Is it a ‘true’ spinoff or are we to assume it.
Think “Phil” was one of the few that survived??? Don’t really remember seeing “Pauly Walnuts” get it but most of the upper echelon on both sides.
Thanks...
What makes these shows so ‘bad’ is if something is a ‘hit’ then 5 or 6 more come along...Remember the old WWII movies the ‘squad’ was usually a Mustang Capt who had a fight years ago with the PFC (who was a foul up but Good Soldier), the rich kid, the wise guy from Brooklyn etc etc.
The new ‘quirky’ cast is like from the CSI/NCIS with the characters interchangeable and either an old but loveable ME/Coroner which got replaced by a ‘wacky girl’.
They ‘drain each other’ and before long they are repeating themselves...NCIS/CSI is going to be the ‘same’ no matter what City they say it is in.
I always thought the ‘best’ L&O was CI...
Oh,,,did you see the promos for ‘Annie’? I will leave you to your own conclusions...Ain’t nuttin sacred’? I guess ASP will be a ‘Sinbad the Sailor’ or a wisecracking honky....
It’s kind of a long story but this is the short version.
A wounded Bobby suggests to an uneven Juice to go to the club and get laid. Despite initial resistance, Juice finally agrees to go, but secretly takes all of Bobby’s Oxycontin with him. At the club, Juice takes all of the pills and nearly overdoses, but is saved by Nero and Gemma. Juice has an emotional breakdown and reveals to Nero that Jax ordered him to murder Darvany. Nero later reveals this knowledge to Jax. After Jax makes an agreement with DA Tyne Patterson to turn himself in to save Tara and his sons, he hands leadership of the club over to Bobby and tells Chibs that Juice cannot be trusted. After Gemma disappears, Juice offers to look for her. When saying goodbye, Jax whispers in Juice’s ear that he knows that Juice betrayed him, leaving Juice stunned.
Juice goes to Jax and Tara’s home where he finds Gemma and Roosevelt just moments after Gemma murdered Tara. He shoots and kills Roosevelt before he can call for backup. He is last seen disposing of key evidence from the murders
The team up with Gemma was the final betrayal.
Regarding the homeless woman (this is not really a spoiler, but for those who haven’t watched the series, you might want to skip it):
She (the homeless woman) was the ghost of a woman who was killed in a car accident (There is some speculation that it was the same accident that killed Jax’s father, but I haven’t been able to confirm that). She appeared throughout the show, and was also the (dead) mother of the young teen girl that threw a brick through the club’s “ice cream shop” window last season. When the MC goes to visit that girls father, you can see her (the homeless woman) in a family portrait. The father explains how she died and that daughter had been troubled ever since.
Couldn’t have been the same accident as Jax’s father. He was killed the same way Jax was killed. Just him and a semi.
You are more observant than I am. Thanks for the information.
