Christian Broadcasting Network reporter David Brody has been slowly releasing excerpts from his interview with likely Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson, who has told Brody that liberals are responsible for hate speech and that he feels fingers from God telling him to make a run for the White House.
Today, Brody released another segment from his interview where the conservative activist was joined by his wife, Candy, to describe how God is calling him to make a presidential bid.
We recognize that we are being instruments in the hand of God, he is the one who really orchestrates all of this, Carson said.
After warning that the future of America is in peril, Carson stressed that we are in fact a Judeo-Christian nation and I think thats a huge part of our strength.

Sorry ben Carson, there has been a black president already and unfortunately your skin color will make you ineligible to be elected. America will not elect another black for president for at least another 100 years if America is even around that long. Obama has destroyed the view of blacks in leadership at the national level. The black leadership will only be achieved at the local/state level. Individual states may elect a black candidate to the federal level
What did God tell you about my high capacity magazines and .223 rifle, Ben?
Ive already started backing away from this guy.....folks will sour on him soon and it will be a tidal wave.
It is truly a shame the things God gets blamed for.
American conservatives have been so thoroughly beaten up over the race issue that we’re desperate for a black/minority leader, who we are under the delusion will be immune to such criticisms and will thereby immunize us.
Ben Carson is an highly admirable person in many ways. That does not of itself make him a good choice to lead our movement, this country or the free world.
Like just about all conservatives, I’d be more than happy to vote for a credible conservative black or other minority presidential candidate. But if minority status is his/her primary qualification, watch out!
Carson reminds me in some ways of Herman Cain, who was a black man with an admirable life story and no other visible qualifications to be president.
Conservative candidates would be well advised to be faithful to their wives. Liberal candidates, multiple adulteries and accusations of sexual harassment and rape, no problem.
Well, you wouldn't really hear about them, would you?
True.
Seems God could stop Obama any time He wants. I have always felt Obama is God’s judgment on America.
Dr. Carson would be much better placed as the head of HHS!!!!!!
WALKER/CRUZ ticket I am personally sick of TRYING to FIX things at the ballot box WE NEED TERM LIMITS!!!!!!!!!
Go for it, Ben. I can only think of one guy ahead of you in my personal poll right now.
Obama is a genuinely evil thug and bigot who is way over his head in the White House. And I thank God that the job is too big for him, or he would do even more damage to what used to be the greatest country in the world. Obama’s goals are the exact opposite of freedom and prosperity for Americans, and our only hope is that he won’t figure out how to get there.
Dr. Bed Carson is a good and great man who would also be over his head in the White House. It’s a shame too. If he thought for a decade or two about the key issues, I believe he would arrive at the right decisions. The problem would arise if he simply stepped into the White House without previous political experience. He would learn from watching liberal “solutions” make the problems worse, unlike liberals who deny reality, but he would have to be paying attention the whole time for that to help, and that takes a decade or more in political life.
I also believe he would do better serving as head of HHS, after finding out through fellow Freepers that Dr. Carson fails to uphold the 2nd Amendment in completeness nor does he see fully securing our borders and rejecting amnesty as things to do. It’s really too bad—I was really considering voting for him, should we even be blessed to HAVE another election in the face of having an emperial muslim facist in the WH who likely will not leave...willingly. You must look at everything in a candidate’s platform (seen and unseen), and though in times past I believe we have chosen candidates and voted for the ‘lesser of two evils’, we do not have that option anymore (or we should have never looked upon it anyway).
I like the guy and everything he is saying is right on. But the calling by god is the exact same line Herman Cain used when he ran.

Ben is not the President you are looking for.
I think this calling from God is common to all of us for our own benefit as well as how other persons are affected by our compliance with His will.
I don't distrust Ben Carson - all we know is that he used to accept what he heard outside his specialty. I have no reason to believe he is lying about his conservative evolution. I just have no reason to believe he is ready for the top job.
