Well, you have all the anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists and wholesale hippy-dippy quackery combined with open borders and this is what you get. Bear in mind that pacifism, globalism, and hatred of the police are big out there too...

“.. back then it was the polio sugar cubes, smallpox, DPT..”

If I’m not wrong, the DPT covers Whooping cough (known as Pertussis). The kids don’t get smallpox vaccines anymore but you are right.. the amount of vaccines recommended is HUGE!

“Guardisil is not mandatory”.

I saw on the news that it is mandatory for all D.C. public school kids. Wasn’t there some rule in Texas a few years back that made it mandatory for all of their students?

Yeah, right? Certainly not all those hard working, family orientated, just -want-a -better life, salt of the earth Mexicans flooding into the state. Nah! Couldn't be. Why, how racist of me.(sar.)

I do not know of the DC ruling, I would be rather shocked but I am going see if I can find the truth on it.

As for TX, there was the option to opt out, but from what I recall, the option wasn’t widely known. Which, btw, I think is odd, as a parent, I sure as he&& would know if it were mandatory or not!
