House Speaker John Boehner claims that next year Republicans will take the fight over executive amnesty to President Obama.
“We’ve also made clear that early on we’ll make a direct challenge to the president’s unilateral actions on immigration,” the Ohio Republican told reporters Thursday in arguing the case for the House’s must-pass government spending bill. “You can expect that challenge to the president to include real action on border security.”
He noted that the House is already working on the matter, and will pick it back up in January. “We’ll take this fight to the president on the strongest possible ground -- with new majorities that the American people elected,” he said.
Boehner declined to list the ways the House could combat Obama’s actions next year, saying “it would be an inconclusive list.”

No, he isn’t lying. He will pass a lot of showboat legislation that Obama will veto, and then he will whine that no matter how hard he tries, it just can’t be done. He and the other rinos will be able to pound their chests proclaiming their conservative efforts during the run up to the next election, which will convince low information Republicans to send them back to Washington. Its all a game.

The losing dem senators are not going to hang around till January awaiting a new bill, they are going to high tail it out of town and when that happens, they lose a good deal of leverage in the Senate by default.

Hey Boner, you can start now by opposing the omnibus bill in it’s current form.
His challenge will be to pass a broader amnesty bill, thereby making Obama’s action moot.

Is that the same promise you made to stop Obama’s executive orders and his over reach (abuse of his authority) when he made more than 36 changes to Obamacare to insure Democraps were reelected BEFORE the American people found out the truth about the healthcare law?
Is this the same promise you made to insure the passage of the Keystone XL pipeline to put Americans back to work?
