are the price of groceries going to go down along with the downward spiral of gas prices?the price of groceries and just about everything else went up drastically when gas prices went up why don’t they go down when gas prices go down?
No, everyone else in the supply chain gets to split that.
Perhaps because we are still eating food produced with last growing seasons oil prices—tractors, transportation, etc. If oil prices stay down and food prices don’t go down after they are grown and moved with lower oil prices, then we should get very angry. I could be mistaken, but I think that the price of imported European cheese is already down a bit. Cheaper transport?
