Though Democrats are in the minority in the House, Speaker John Boehner likely needs their support

Clearly the GOP doesn’t need Conservative voters since they will pander to Democrats. So please no more GOP lectures aimed at Conservatives who don’t vote GOP!

I think it’s too bad that some Tea Partiers would rather pout than govern.

But LEADERS, even GOP Leaders, don’t have the luxury of throwing temper tantrums when they don’t get every single thing they want.

Speaker Boehner has offered a budget bill to the House that, among other benefits, clips the budgets of the IRS and EPA.

“Not enough!” shout the Tea Partiers, and “We won’t support you!”

As those Tea Partiers “peel away”, Nancy Pelosi says to the GOP’s leaders, “Let ME help you govern, just restore the budgets for...”

So what has just happened?

The Hard Right has just EMPOWERED the Hard Left!

It’s enough to make you wonder why the GOP is called “the smart party”.
