"....A recent 90-minute interview with the Washington Post paid off with a Wednesday front-page story headlined, New image, renewed ambition for Perry, that was sprinkled with details about Perrys preparations for a presidential run that the outgoing governor says isnt yet a sure thing.
This Perry comes across as studious, contemplative and humble, wrote Philip Rucker, national political reporter for the Post. He said he is at peace with his 2012 presidential campaign, in which his shoot-first-aim-later approach proved catastrophic, but is hungry to redeem himself.
Coinciding with the story, Texans for Rick Perry released a stylized, three-minute video touting Perrys economic legacy after 14 years in office. The video, punctuated by dramatic orchestral music and sweeping Texas vistas, is the same production being shown during seven dinners giving Perry a chance to personally pitch affluent Republican donors the people who could make or break a second run for the White House."....

La Raza Rick ? “Talented” ? No.
You hope and believe wrongly:
a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3206399/posts
9/21/2014 - Governor Rick Perry reaffirmed his support of allowing illegal immigrant students to pay in-state tuition at Texas colleges and universities, while U.S. citizens from other states continue to pay higher out-of-state tuition rates.
even so, its more than any other governor has done about it in the last few decades
You don't think a female Hispanic governor would help the ticket?????
Martinez should be everyone's choice for VP
This is exactly HOW Hillary wins. The eGOP runs a liberal.
in the WaPo yesterday:
You are clueless about Texas politics. The Texas governor is the LEAST powerful in the nation. He can't pardon anyone without permission of a board.
About all he can do is sign passed legislation and cheer-lead.

Slick Rick is the opposite of Ted Cruz
Well then, the GOP is doomed. Not that we didn’t already know that....
Clueless is right JR. But what do you expect from liberal lovers who support an idiot like LaRaza Riccardo Perrynista. You know, La Raza Ricky....who called Hillary Clinton a “Great secretary of State”.
Well, he’s talented at being a political hack. He puts a ton of energy into pandering.
Why nominate a governor if government is the problem?
Amen......
Then there is also governor Kasich. Cavuto gave him free reign today and he took advantage of the time. he’s not to shabby and has fantastic fiscal knowledge
meantime...... go Rick!
I like Rick Perry but I have read that the big Texas donors are holding off until they see if Jeb is going to run. That’s who they really want. Sickening but not unexpected.
The same liberal Rick that wanted the Trans-Texas corridor to be owned by a Spanish company?
The same liberal Rick that pushed for in-state tuition for illegals?
That Rick? He can go home. I damn sure won't vote for him in the primary or the general election.

Ted Cruz.
We pull this routine every time, and all we get is bleed off and a lost cause for it, winding up with the biggest RINO possible.
Folks, I’ll vote for Ted Cruz. You put another idiot in there and good luck. I won’t be joining you in November.
We know what we need. Now lets get behind him.
I won’t be getting behind Rick Perry.
yep...... he’s the one
True. Slick pols like him used to be described in one word, “Democrats.”
