A disturbing conversation with one of my smartest, most astute friends who is from a border state but has been observing race relations for a long time now. He is white. He is definitely idiosyncratic. This, in paraphrase, is what he said:
“I keep reading in the newspapers and seeing in the mainstream media how angry blacks are at whites over the Trayvon Martin case, the Ferguson case and the Staten Island case. And what the media is missing is that as angry as the blacks are at the whites, that’s how angry many — not all — whites are at the blacks. Blacks ask for reparations for slavery and Jim Crow, as if paying today’s twenty-year-old crack addict had anything to do with his ten times removed grandfather being a slave or could make any difference at all to the soul of that slave.
“What I wonder is when white people are going to start asking black people for reparations for wrecking the public schools, for destroying urban life in many cities, for the insanely disproportionate share of armed robberies, homicides, and rapes they commit? When are black people going to pay reparations for putting the whole nation in fear?”
I heard this from a man about my age and I would chalk it up to one person’s oddness except that I hear words a bit like these constantly these days from white people.
Except during the era of school busing in the seventies, I have never heard or seen whites so angry at blacks. Al Sharpton has done what he set out to do and so has Eric Holder. They have fanned the flames of racial anger to a white hot pitch.

When it comes down to the quarter finals instead of these scrimmages that are going on, those MRAPS will become flaming beacons of resistance.
Don’t underestimate the low key and cloaked resolve of the good old boys and rednecks that are the backbone of this nation.
But I think Obama is making a huge mistake that will grow the Tea Party ranks and Republican ranks in general and, assuming we don’t nominate another Romney/McCain/Bush/Christy RINO, then the GOP should coast to the Presidency in the next election.
Of course that is a big IF. ...
I wish it wasn't so, but the IRS/Lois Lerner essentially neutered the T.E.A. Party. There is no other large organized conservative movement. The GOPe is working against conservatives. Think back on the T.E.A. Party movement - the overwhelming support was from white folks who were 50+. I do not know if this segment of the population has the energy/will to resist when that big fan is turned on. Yes, they would like to maintain the Republic for their children and grandchildren, but they/I are getting old.

Nope. The election in 2010 and 2014 didn’t just add more RINOS. The conservative base in the House and Senate contain a growing number of TPINOs. To coin an acronym.
The Tea Party is not a political party. It is a philosophy. That philosophy helped reclaim the House and Senate from the Obama Thugs. That group of Republicans voted 100% against Obamacare. Even RINOS vote the right way sometimes.
Be patient. We are making progress.

“They” are people of poor culture and character who are foreign invaders whom should be deported forthwith. Furthermore, they do not even try to assimilate. “They” want the entire culture in this country to change to their specifications.

I stopped watching Cavuto’s weekend show because he is a regular, fortunately Stein is rarely on Cavuto’s daily Your World.
Ben Stein endorsed Al Franken for the Senate 6 years ago, that makes Ben Stein an effing moron.
Until he admits that was a horrible mistake and begs for forgiveness I’m not interested in whatever the hell he writes.
