Don’t understand this at all! Seems that this President and their aids are causing unnecessary conflict everywhere! All of this is so wrong when viewing the facts. Seems that so many see and think so differently that things will never come together. I blame leadership!

Agree, it is puzzling as to why well-organized protests have broken out in so many different areas across the country. The one common factor seems to be that the protestors are not local to the specific area of the protests and come from all over the country. That fits past demonstrations in the past. Protestors would arrive in a city, unpack and start their organized "so-called" spontaneous call and response chanting.

Last night I heard a newscaster say "some locals have begun looking out at the marchers in curiosity, and it's believed that a few have joined the protestors."

Someone or some group has gone to a lot of trouble recruiting the protestors, teaching them the basics of mob psychology plus the chant of the day. It would not be surprising to learn that there is a core group of protestors acting as section leaders who are being paid as "activists."

Despite the locale, I doubt that many Berkeley students would want to take the time to join the protests, unless they were guaranteed course credit, a passing grade on upcoming Mid-term exams plus cash money.
