Boehner could easily be made to pay with his Speakership for this final betrayal if people weren’t so eager to just whine and cry at the moment of our greatest opportunity.

That’s how I see it anyway.

Our choices for speaker are Boehner, Pelosi, and a third or fourth candidate. Go ahead, split the vote and put Pelosi in. That’ll be fun. See how this “need another speaker in there” works?

Bull Halsey, Nathan Bedford Forrest, and any competent field general knows to avoid the enemy where he is strong and attack him with overwhelming force where he is weak. The Republican establishment is strong where it is established, which is in the leadership of Congress and in fundraising. It is not so strong in the state legislatures.

There is the enemy and there he should be attacked.
