Maybe one of the late night shows will put together a montage of “take it up with my counsel” statements from this hearing.

The way to shut down the 'Take it up with my counsel' crap is the following: Congressperson: "By telling me to take it up with your attorney, who is sitting here with us today, are you saying that the answer to my question is potentially self-incriminating?" Gruber: CP: "Take it up with my attorney is a contemptible response, sir. If you believe the answer is potentially self incriminating, then declare your intention to refrain from answering as it is your right to do under the 5th amendment from the Constitution. Is it your intent to refuse to answer my question because you wish to do so under the 5th Amendment, or do you refuse because you have contempt for these hearings, which you must admit that the only bipartisan agreement we may have arrived at this Congress is that your remarks require a fulsome public explanation. Which is it sir?"
