Are you aware of the level of popular justice directed at the officers of the crown and their property in the years immediately before Lexington and Concord? Not only were the agents of King George rendered unable to enforce his decrees they were effectively physically intimidated into quiescence or flight to a British controlled enclave or to the UK. Something of the same sort would paralyze the far more tyrannical agents of various state, local, and federal usurpers of liberty and property.

Interesting. I remember spending time in the summer with my mother's grand cousin who had a big wood frame house on a hill facing the Southern RR line near Bealton Va. There was no running water and electricity in only three rooms. It was one of the most pleasurable times of my childhood. Somehow i never suffered any lasting harm from being exposed to such atrocious conditions

We used to spend weeks at the lake in a 3 room cabin. The water came from a spring in the downstairs garage/carport, oil lamps and candles, wood and coal stove, and of course the privy was 80 feet from the back door. That made it *interesting* when out there in the wintertime.

Revolutions are not really broken into in that sense. Such processes take much cool determination, time and many kinds of measures. Revolutions are always completed, though, by vast numbers of people of all kinds.

You might be referring to riots or other unsuccessful rebellions often stirred up by those who can afford to sponsor such confusions (e.g., petty racial tensions and other minor divisions).

Thank goodness, that it's so quiet and civil now...and getting quieter in some ways. :-)
