From the article:
“Just to be clear: The author and publisher of this article are strongly opposed to rape in all forms, and fully support investigations into all of these allegations and if there is any substance to them, demand prosecution of the perpetrators. However, we are just as strongly opposed to false rape accusations, which not only can ruin an innocent accused persons life, but also diminish the seriousness of real sexual assault cases, which will all have an increasing shadow of doubt cast on them each time another claim is proven false.”
The whole concept that a person is quilty until proven innocent - and the need for the accused to prove a neqative (prove they DIDN’T do a crime) - flies in the face not only of many years of jurisprudence but also in the face of loqic, since you can’t prove a neqative.
Of course, if Cosby has to be quilty because of the larqe number of (unsubstantiated) accusations aqainst him, then by qolly Berkeley frats must also be quilty. They should all be shut down immediately because the ALLEQATIONS are inconsistent with the values of the school (as the Navy said when strippinq Cosby of his honorary position).
Mind your p’s and q’s (or in this case (g’s and q’s)!
There you go again - determined to defend kindly "wouldn't hurt a fly" Dr. Huxtable, as you have on other threads...
